Chairman – Gary Cordery
Gary Cordery is a graduate of the Medical Physics training programme starting as a student in 1989 and has been a clinical engineer for just over 30 years. His current role is as Head of Medical Equipment Management Services (MEMS) leading Clinical Engineering across three trusts in Essex pre-merger.
Although Gary’s primary working background is in clinical engineering he also has a passion for IT and programming. This combination of skills allows Gary to bridge the gap between Information Technology and Clinical Engineering to enable an informed contribution to the Trust’s future medical device needs. He is also on a mission to get wider adoption of open source in healthcare.
He has presented internationally on a wide range of topics, and is a member of the msb innovation group as well as sitting on the local panel for NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme/Fellowship.
He is currently undertaking a MBA at University of Hertfordshire Business School.
